Today, the overall winner of the New London Architecture Awards for Social Housing Innovation has been named as the Tower Court project in Hackney from Adam Khan Architects, muf architecture/art, Child Graddon Lewis, and Daisy Froud.
The scheme yields 132 new apartments that help foster diversity and inclusion while mixing in green space to blend seamlessly to create a “balanced design.” Sadie Morgan, the Director of dRMM, said it is a “noble example of how we can continue to address the housing crisis whilst prioritising quality and dignity in design.”

Tower Court also won in the ‘Housing’ category. The new Young V&A Museum by De Matos Ryan and AOC Architecture took home the ‘Retrofit’ category and Mayor’s Prize. Tower Court follows other past winners such as the Battersea Power Station, Brittania Leisure Centre, and London Bridge Station — each of which represents NLA’s elevation of projects of all scales that lead to the creation of a more sustainable, civilized, and egalitarian capital.
