Consider rectangular or circular designs rather than irregular natural forms – materials like corten steel, concrete, or sleek stone work well,’ Ted comments.
It’s also important to consider the area around your feature. To improve your space, Ted recommends investing in some gravel grids that are great for ‘creating stable, permeable surfaces around water features’. A grid will also prevent gravel migration whilst maintaining a clean contemporary look.
With the correct planning, you can enjoy the splendor and soothing qualities of a water feature, even if it’s not as intricate or extensive as the one in Cher’s yard. No matter the size, you can take a lesson from her iconic home and bring it to life in your own way.
